1-1-2009，我们来到Varanasi, 用最非一般的方式过新年。 2008年的最后一天，和一具‘咸鱼‘在Tundla火车站的月台‘邂逅‘， 2009年的第一天的新年节目是在VARANASI的恒河河畔，看叹为观止的‘咸鱼s‘齐齐被BBQ. 。。在准备旅途路线的时候-VARANASI, 一直是我寄予厚望的一个目的地。最终，的确证明它果然是独一无二的- No place on earth is like Varanasi. 如果，旅行的其中一个原因是想去看一看另一种生活的方式，VARANASI肯定可以展现给你最震撼的，最彻底不同的， 看待生和死的一种态度。这样的一种态度，坦白说，我无法去评论是好还是不好， 甚至很难去道出一个所以然来， ，只能说是-真‘奇特‘。 就像很难用言语/文字去形容Varanasi这个城市一样，我们只能去‘感受‘它， 去'breathe' 它 ( the smell of life and, of death)。。。然后conclude 一句- Varanasi 真是‘奇特‘。
一早到VARANASI， 我们就用很‘physical'的方式认识它-, 我们必须步行超过二十分钟， 穿过像迷宫一样的窄小街道， 才能到达车子到不了的-位于河畔的Scindhia Guest House. Scindhia Guest House是我在印度最喜欢的其中一间Guest House- 喜欢它的的地理位置，喜欢它的氛围(atmosphere)，喜欢它的视野(view), 喜欢住在那里的其他住客，喜欢它酷酷的主人/厨师，喜欢酷酷厨师的tomoto & Onion Omelette ( 让我的早餐有一阵短暂的幸福感-）， 还有最最喜欢在我们三楼房间外的阳台， 可以俯瞰Ganges River，the city and the people。。。

i have took a pic exactly the same angle as yours from the same balcony..
we had gone to the same guesthouse, but the 女主人 you mentioned no longer there..I wonder that y the owner/ chef looked always not in good mood .. but i still like him...
